Hi All
On our system, a customer purchases a specific product and pays online. However, we dont know what the shipping costs are until we get the full customer details. The shipping costs depend on a number of factors, volume, weight, destination, door to door service etc. So we have to send a second invoice for the shipping charges. How do we do that smoothly within actinic..

The Actinic way to handle this is for you to tabulate the possible shipping combinations under the View | Business - Shipping and handling tab.

You have to make a choice on whether to use weight, volume equivalent weight, or quantity as the multiplying factor that moves the goods from one shipping band to another. There is a lot of discussion on the pitfalls of each method on the forum. A search for shipping should find most of them.
