    Help with SSL

    Hello,
can anyone help me with a problem i'm having with a shared SSL?
I changed hosting packages and have had a few problems. I have a wholesale site which requires a customer to log in, which is working OK but after adding items to basket if you go to checkout it refers you back to catalogue stating there are no items in your basket. If you then view basket, the items are still in there.
If you turn off the SSL, everything works fine. I've spoken to my host and they have told me to go to view > business settings > payment and security and click the configure method box and then I can change my shared SSl settings. But this only displays my Worldpay or Paypal merchant settings, and I can't seem to remove/delete my worldpay or paypal as registered customers have one of the two selected as their preferred payment method. I told that once I remove the two payment options, then I can change my Shared SSL settings. It's probably some thing simple but at this moment I can not seem to figure it out.
    Any help would be appresiated

    Instructions I was sent
If you are using shared SSL they you need to do this. Like your hosting company says you will have to untick ssl and then goto view | business settings | payment and security with the payment method credit details captured for later use selected click on the configure method button. This will give you the credit card capture configuration window . Now if you select shared ssl another box will appear with listed providers and unlisted providers. If you are using a provider that appears in the list choose it and enter the information given or else choose the unlisted provider from the drop down this will open the space where you can enter the information

Looks like you need to add the option - credit details captured for later use, then use that to configure your details.

      security

      Hello wjcampbe,
The last bit of info came from actinic support when I could get no further with host as they were suggesting problem with actinic software. I added the payment method "credit details captured for later use" and set up my details but with fallback & limit to defined ticked as I actually do not want to offer this payment method.
Now when a customer logs in, they get the golden padlock as they sign in but it doe's not reappear on checkout until customer hits worldpay or paypal pages.
      Is this still secure?

Not using SSL myself so not sure, but have you re-ticked the ssl now it's configured?

Can you remove the capture details option after doing the config?
