Hi guys,
Basically, i import my current stock data from my till system in my shop in to actinic using .csv
However, my products are split in to category's and i cannot seem to figure out which import field is used to create 'sub-categories'
At the moment i can only have 1 level of category which means i have about nearly 20 cats on my homepage which is awful.
On the homepage it should should display, say, 5 MASTER categories. Then when the category link is clicked, it then displays 3 SUB categories, and when the customer clicks on the sub category, the products in that sub category are then displayed.
Any ideas? i bet its quite simple... At the moment the only way round this i can see is that once the .csv file is imported, i then have to manually create my sub categories in actinic and copy and paste all the products in each one.
This will take forever as i have over 1000 products already!
So... in a nutshell, is there a subcategory import field that is used to create sub categories like it creates the main category's during an import.
Cheers
Mario
