    ship wrecked

    Apologies for the dreadful title.
I've got an order on my system where a customer ordered an item, then phoned me as she changed her mind and wanted a different item. So I cancelled the original item and added the new item 'offline'.

The problem I have is that I have just put the status of the 'offline' product to 'shipped', but actinic won't put the order onto my 'completed order' tab as the cancelled order isn't shipped (obviously).

Is this a bug, or am I doing something fundamentally wrong.

'tis a bug... can Actinic comment on whether it's fixed in 7.0.5? think I read it might have been.
It's a pain though.. the only way to shift the order is to export it.

Check the 'Totals' tab - it could be that Actinic thinks there is outstanding money to pay - i.e. shipping costs.

You can edit the shipping costs and change them to '0' in the 'Shipping & Handling' tab.

the orders that suffer with this are usually showing as "full payment received" Chris.
It's pretty a normal result with orderlines cancelled and then offline orderlines added.

No, its not that i'm afraid - As Tracey says, i've got 'full payment recieved', the offline order is shipped and the invoice printed. I can't see any reason why it won't shift out of 'pending'.

Its a commonish problem Nick, always after adding/cancelling items. Right click and `Export to orders` (or whatever it is), then you'll have to click `yes` I think.

I've got this same problem, only it is a standard order, nothing done offline, and nothing cancelled or changed. What did happen is just as I shipped the order actinic crashed, (as it generally does about once a day). When I went back in the order itself is showing as shipped, but under the pending tab it isn't.
Anyhow, when I right click on the order, I don't have an option to export. Am I suppose to right click on something in particular?

Look under Business Settings>Ordering and you'll see the option to 'export to files'. Tick this box and you should then be able to right click and export any stuck orders.

I have around 12 such orders on my site (thanks for the work around) which I have been unable to clear.

When I do a month end report are these stuck orders included in my monthly figures or discarded by Actinic?

I have never had the time to sit down and manually add up my orders to see if they match Actinic's reports.

                      Many thanks

                        Hi,

If you are doing a report it will only show you the figures for that particular period defined and not take into consideration orders that are prior to the specified dates. However if you have pending orders within the period and they fulfill the criteria of 'Payment received', 'Invoice Printed' and 'Goods Shipped', then they will feature in the report.

                        Kind regards,
