Assign product codes to attributes for export to sage?

Hi,

I would like to be able to assign different product codes to each choice of attribute for an item. The purpose is to transfer the different product code through to sage using actinic link. At the moment when the choice is made and the order goes through to sage we only have the product number of the main item and a note as to what attribute has been selected. This does not allow full automation of the order or of stock-monitoring.

Can i do this?

Hi,

You will not be able to asign product codes to the attributes. You can however associate the choices to hidden products in the catalog and it will take the code from the associated product. If you check the 'Permutations' tab on the component you will see that you can associate the choice there.
