    cgi-bin error

    HI
    Can anyone possibly help.
My website used to be hosted through a friends account (for the 1st year) As this didn't work well for me paying for the hosting (friend not available anymore) I have set up my own account with the same hosting company - NewNet. Since then I have had a terrible time trying to upload my website to their servers. They told ne one of the problems was to do with my files being called cgi-bin-local originally and to change them to cgi-bin in Actinic - when I go into the Advanced/Networksettings and change anything with local in it to just cgi-bin then test it I get the following error message:
Unable to move to the cgi-bin directory "/home/cgi-bin/" on the FTP server.
The specified directory does not exist or you do not have access to the directory.

Obviously NewNet say they don't know what this means and I need to ask Actinic - can anyone help?

It may be your friends accoutn had the cgi-bin install in another place ie /home/ try removing that for starters to see if that resolves.

If not try logging onto your webspace using a stand alone FTP program and manually checking the location of the cgi-bin
