    Serious problem with 7.0.5

OK, actually I have several problems but this is the most pressing one.
The upgrade (from 7.0.4 to 7.0.5) wiped by OCCPROTXscripttemplate clean, removing my encryption password (and confirmation email) and replacing them with the default "Testvendor" etc.

So, I re-applied my correct password and email address, updated the occupgrade.ini and uploaded yesterday.. all was fine.
Until I restarted ACtinic this morning.. it ran through the PSP upgrader thingy and re-set the info to test again!

I changed it again, uploaded etc.... and EVERY time I restart actinic, it changes it back and consequently, on first upload, wipes the info from the website meaning my PSP isn't working...AGAIN

I'm surely not the only person to have experienced this?

Also, in yesterdays posts, I posted a screen capture which had a calculated postage charge which was a complete mystery...well, I've worked out that it taking 10% of the order value?? Why??
The postage is completely messed up... it's applying OK to the orders (thankfully) but the shipping and handling screen of each order is seriously out of whack.

that's by the by (will take it up with support if I get time!)
    This PSP problem is serious!!

    Cheers

no help to you but I updated from 7.0.4 to 7.0.5 and use protx and had no problem.

As it re-occurs could it be a virus or trojan

      Hi Tracey

One more time, update the 'OCCPROTXScriptTemplate.pl' with your password and email address, but do not update the 'OCCUpgrade.ini' file. That should fix your problem.

        Thanks Chris,
I did think of that but my Norton AV is not picking anything up...
I think I'm going to have to contact support (I have cover) this morning.
Good thing I just asked nursery to keep my little 'un til 4 today!
(should have asked them to take the big one too..LOL... darned half term )

Tracey, check nadeems post above yours. Looks like he posted about the same time as you did.

            Indeed he did!
And his "fix" works a treat (with both stores)
Thing is, that's not how it's "supposed" to work, is it?
Thank goodness it does for now though... thanks Nadeem!

              Hi Tracey

You only change change the .ini once, after that you don't need to change it. So if your script gets replaced, you can simply just change the perlscript and update the site.

              Hope this helps
