Cart details only showing in checkout

HI All,

Been searching through the forum for a solutions to my problem. Found out some stuff, but would like to know the best way to resolve the issue.

I have a site that I am moving to another server/host company. The problem is that Cart details are showing correctly when in checkout or view cart, but are not when browsing ther products for sale.

This seems to be a cookie issue. I have seen it mentioned about the difference between http://www.site.co.uk and http://site.co.uk

On removing the www part of the URL the cart details display correctly, but when www is put back in they don't.

I have seen mention of an addition to the sites htaccess file ( http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=10814 ) Is this the way to cure this problem, or is there a setting I need to change in Network settings?

The site in question is http://www.livesol.com/~manshop/acatalog/

The domain name has not been moved yet, hence the URL

You need to check for consistent use of the www in your network settings and business settings.

Thanks Bill - All the settings I can find have the www bit included with the URL. Still only works without the www.

It works fine for me on www.

It's probably a corrupt session file for your cookie. As this is still a test site, go to help>troubleshooting>purge session files and see if that fixes it.
