Can I give Attributes Product Codes?

Hi,

We have a selection of torches with different bulb colours at http://www.truetools.co.uk/acatalog/minitorches.html

I have set up attributes to allow choice of colour for each torch. I would like actinic to transfer a different product code for each colour through to sage using actinic link. At the moment when the choice is made and the order goes through to sage we only have the product number of the main item and a note as to what attribute has been selected. This does not allow full automation of the order or of stock-monitoring.

Can i do this?

At the mo, the only way I can see to do this is by using a different product for each colour, which seems somewhat clumsy and looks crap!

You can set up 'hidden' products for each variation and reference them from the component/choice properties to have Actinic maintain stock control on the choices.

We have decided to use multiple products for the moment. I may have a go at your suggested method at a future date.
