    Repeat customers - Quickbooks link!

We love getting repeat customers, but when we try to export to Quickbooks (using QBLink) we get errors like:

in XML processor; Error in CustomerAddRs while processing Heidi Jones: The name "Heidi Jones" of the list element is already in use.
in XML processor; Error in SalesReceiptAddRs while processing HJ691210000228: The request has not been processed.
in XML processor; Error in SalesReceiptAddRs while processing HJ691210000229: The request has not been processed.

...and the order won't transfer. This happens when the customer is logged in or not, and only if QB already has a customer of that name. What can we do?

    Thanks,

    Heidi

    Hi Heidi,

You will need to download the Actinic Link Getting started guide from http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/downloads.htm if you do not have a copy of the guide already. Look on page 3 of Link for Quick Books and Customers. If the customers are registered Actinic shoppers ( having customer accounts ) then their transactions can be matched to the Corresponding Quick Books Customer by using the 'External Reference' field in the Actinic Customer account setup. Once this is done you will be able to transfer over without problems, else if the customer is not a registerd Actinic buyer , you will have to manually reassign the customer to the correct QuickBooks customer using the 'Customer:job' dropdown list.

To have all orders transferred over to QuickBooks you will have to create a genertic customer entry within QuickBooks called Internet Shopper for transactions from unregistered customers.
