Can I use the CURRACCOUNT setting to link to another section?

    Hi,

Is it possible? and if so, how do I do it?

I would like to place a hyperlink to a page that is dedicated to a certain customer after they have logged in?

Eg. Customer logs in, the Buyer: account: Logout info is hsown at the top of the screen. I would like to place another link by the side that is specific to the account holder and when clicked, it takes the account holder directly to a dedicated page for them. I would like this to work so that all customers are taken to their own specific page.

So if CustA logs in, they see a special link (by the side of their name) and if clicked it takes them to CustA.html (CustA details to be generated from <Actinic:CURRACCOUNT/>.

If CustZ logs in their link takes them to CustZ.html

On the face of it, it seemed easy but I am tearing my hair out (not much left now) trying to get my head around the bb00001.pl script and how to pass the correct variables to get this to work.

All help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi,

There is a bit of a clunky work around to getting there but it works.

You will have to create price scedules in the names of the specific customers, and associate individual customer accounts to these price schedules. Once that is done, on the prices tab of the product you will need to unchcek the visible for all but 'Retail' and the specific Customer price schedule. This will ensure that the customer only sees products that are marked as visible to him/her. On the customer accounts Buyers Tab, if you select 'Hide Retail Prices' you will then be able to show the customer prices specific to them.

    Hope this helps,
