Re: Changing to smart theme from old

Hi there my website is www.virgofashions.com and im not sure what theme I am currently using but I would like to change to a smart theme to make it look more structured and proffesional. I am torn between 2 types of layouts:

    1.) http://www.squeakybee.co.uk/
    2.) http://www.egyptianwonders.co.uk/acatalog/index.html

What I wanted to know is when using what im using is it ok to change to a smart theme and how?

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated

    Regards James

To see the Theme you are currently using go to Design / Themes and it will be the highlighted one.

You can only switch themes with impunity if you are running a standard Actinic site with no Template customisations. This is NOT the case for Virgo Fashions.

Be very careful and don't make any changes unless you are prepared to re-install the Norcat specific templates (from C:\Norcat\Patches\<Actinic Version>\Templates into your Site1 folder) as changing Themes usually overwrites existing templates. You will also lose any customisations you have made to other Templates.

It would be a good idea to back up all of Site1 and take a Snapshot before doing anything.
