    currently 600 , would like it to read 100% but it wont accept a % why..?

    I don't know if you can change the width to a percentage within the CUSTOMVARS. I couldn't find a way to do it.
    To get round this, and to make my window work at 100% rather than ACTSTDWIDTH=600 I did the following (make sure you ALWAYS backup your templates before changing them though in case you need to revert back to the original):

    Run Notepad in Windows, and open the Act_BrochurePrimary and Act_Primary templates in your Site1 folder (and probably Act_Checkout etc.). Find where it says WIDTH="CUSTOMVAR:ACTSTDWIDTH" (use Ctrl-F for the find facility) and change this to WIDTH="100%". Save the template and use the preview pane in Actinic to see if this has the desired effect.

      would still like to know if you can somehow put a % in a customvar for future referene though..

        In my 7.0.4 it accepts "100%" OK.

        You may have this set to type Integer in Advanced / Custom Properties. If so change the type to Text and all should be fine.
