    anti-caching code

Does anyone have any opinions on using the usual anti-caching stuff in the primary templates to prevent, say, a customer seeing a page with a price on it one day, then going to order that product the next day (after an overnight price change).

They could get a cached page, hit the buy now button, and think "that's not very good, the checkout shows a different price!"

    Cheers, Dan

I would say the benefits of caching far outweigh the number of times this will happen. Customers may not be best pleased at the price change, but if you don't cache - and have more than say 10 products per page - then every customer will spend most of their time waiting for images to load rather than in your checkout.

      Hi Graham

Good point, well made! I think I'll now stop worrying about this one.
