Can't use Paypal

Paypal is in the payment providers list but when I click "configure method" it says "Creation of the configuration file for PayPal failed". Latest patch is installed. Tried re-installing paymant providers from my original CD but it said it could not find a copy of Actinic Developer installed on the system and told me to install it first. I'm reluctant to go back to the orginal disk install for fear of undoing all my patches and customisations.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Try removing Paypal from the provider list and close Actinic. Once you reopen, does Actinic come up with any message about Payment Service providers? What exact version of v7 are you on?

Someone else wfrom Support helped me out and fixed the problem. She sent me an exe file to install payment providers. I was surprised this isn't downloadable from the support pages. Thanks anyway for your reply and apologies for not closing down the thread myself.
