    those stock levels again!

    OK, I'm still having several BIG issues since my patch to 7.0.5 (starting to think the previous issues that I patched to solve weren't so bad after all!!)

    The shipping one is still work in progress with support but I'm having problems still with stock levels not changing when I add something to an order.

    I's fine if I add (an offline addition this is) a standard item but if I add an item that is a choice (component, attribute, choice... usually size/colour), then the associated product level does NOT change when it should do.

    They're changing fine when standard online orders are downloaded, but not when I make manual offline additional orderlines

    Now, I seem to recall this WAS picked up as a bug in a previous version.. (some time ago now) so I'm wondering why it hasn't been fixed?

    It's a fairly serious problem (as I'm having to manual change the stock levels of EVERY item I manually add if it happens to be a choice related to a hidden item) and I can't be the only one noticing it??

    Anyone else getting this? It's a PITA and ought to have been fixed by now!

    Hi Tracey,

    I have tried it on a site here and it works perfectly fine both while creating a new offline order as well as when I add an additinal line to a downloaded order. Have a product setup with 3 choices, choices are associated to hidden products on which the stock is maintained. On confirming the order the stock gets depleted correctly in both scenarios.

    Can anyone else let us know if you can replicate Tracey's issue please? This was fixed in 7.0.5 and works as far as I can see. Any updates would be appreciated.

      Thanks for your response.
      Despite numerous tests before I posted this, it's now working fine.
      TBH, I'm having a lot of issues since patching from 7.0.4 to 7.0.5... is it worthwhile copying my site folders and removing actinic and doing a clean reinstall of 7.0.5 itself?
      I'm still having some serious problems with the shipping that support are unable to replicate or fix.
      Could a clean reinstall help, do you think?

        Guess a clean install would be the best thing to do. Hope it improves things for you.
