Basic help with a table please

Hello All

I want to change my main shop page to a 2 column table format. Is there a standard option for this that I am missing or do I need to html it.

If the latter, could anyone help out with the basic elements of the code, my html hasn't got to tables yet and a couple of pointers will get me on my way.

You can lay the sections out in multiple columns under Design | Options | Sections and enter the column count in there. You can alter individual sections to override the default by clicking on the Layout Tab against the section and entering the desired columns for that section there.
