order problem

Hi,

I have created an online shop and look after the changes for my client but don't download the orders.

They have told me they are getting messages when they download the orders saying "...we are getting a message about changes to the site and asking us to upload the catalogue. Something to do with files about oldprice, oldprod etc."

The copy they have on their system is older than mine. Do I take a snapshot and get them to load it on their system? And if so can I clarify that they won't lose all the past orders that they have. If this isn't the solution could someone let me know what is the best way forward.

When they import the new snapshot, they are asked if the want to overwrite the orders which they should not do.

Just to be safe make them take a snapshot of their present site before importing the new one and give the original a name that reflects it is the original as if anything goes wrong its easy to get confused about backups and database saves and overwrite the wrong one

The problem they have with the old site may well be solved by a site refresh and not a upload
