Hi All
I am trying to get rith of the T&C on the checkout page...I have ticked the Rmove Terms&Conditions link in Business Settings..but the stuff still shows up in the checkout page...I dont want it there..Many thanks

Try Design | Options - Miscellaneous and check Terms and Conditions on separate catalog page.

That did not work...I think one have to "NETQUOTEVAR:INFOPANELS". I really cant understand why a simple click does not do the job and one has to uncomment code...

Sorry - I missed that part of your post. Remove terms and conditions will do just that - remove the menu link to T & C. I think you may want to take that tick out if you want customers to be able to navigate to your T & C.

Do you have a tick against T & C to be agreed before checkout?

You may want to look at the online help for Act_Order01.html template as there are several NQV's which call parts of the T & C in this template, regardless of the full T & C setting.

I did tick both remove t&C link and T&C link before checkout just to see what will happen...all the time i was getting the T&C during checkout..

Yes, but are you getting full T & C or only the parts that are called by the NETQUOTEVARs in Act_Order01.html ??

I believe all of that is being pulled in by the Act_Order01.html template. I would suggest you comment out all three NQVs and see what effect that has.

General checkout terms and conditions
A number of the other Terms & Conditions. This currently consists of the contents of the "About Us", "Delivery Schedule", "Back Orders", "Credit Card Security", "Guarantee, Reaching Us", and "Privacy Policy" panels.

I was surprised to find that although there is only a link to T & C on the first checkout page, the second (from Act_Order01) does indeed seem to quote the almost the full text below the 'I accept' checkbox, but since I want to be sure customers have every opportunity to know what they are agreeing to, it does not bother me. The DSR requires that this information is presented in a durable form to the customer during the shopping process.
