free delivery using coupons

I have a client who wants to offer free delivery on an order if a coupon code is added. Shipping costs are on qty not weight and I understand that this will not be possible.

I think this would be a good feature for the next version so that poeple can get free shipping regardless of the product total cost (via a coupon).

What say you actinic people?

Hopefully the whole shipping model and coupons / voucher system will be overhauled in V8 to allow more flexibility

This is an issue that is on the wishlist at the moment, something that could be considered for v8 to enable flexibility. Will add your request there.
