I have used duplicates extensively for my site at www.orate.co.uk where we have just implemented our upgrade to V7. For example: master product "Mains charger - " had [brand] [model] added to it, so it became (eg) Mains charger - Motorola A835".
It then came as a shock that the [brand] & [model] information are dropped in the order and email.
I have just seen the Jan 05 thread about this so now realise that this is how things stand.
We have entered properties for each of the duplicates - again [brand], [model] and [product]. We also have [brand] and [model] in the subsections. Is there any way to extract this information on to the order?
If no- we'd better restore V6 in a hurry and bin 2 months work. Sigh.
