    1and1 and not evaluting traffic

Checking my site stats from 1and1 and I note that only about 10% of visiters are being recorded, ie

Basis: 500 results from 5000 unique visits of which 4500 unknown/could not be evaluated.

Is there any way of recording the un-evaluated ones?

Do you mean 5000 hits? Each graphic on a page counts as a hit, so if you are using navigation graphics and you have six items in the menu bar, that will be 13 hits. (one for the page, 6 for the ordinary graphics and 6 for the alternate images). That is without counting product image(s), add to cart button(s) etc.

1 & 1 keep pretty good raw logs (in a folder called /logs/ strangely enough - files are called access.log.xx.gz where xx is a sequential number) on the Business package, which you have access to, as well as giving you the Webaliser(sp) results through your control panel.
