    Problem with NetNation Hosting

    Hi

Is anyone out there using NetNation for their web hosting? They have just migrated me over to their 'State of the art' servers and now I cannot access the CGI-BIN directory. Both NetNation and Actinic say my settings are all correct including the CGI-BIN path and permission setting (755). Netnation say thay can post to my CGI folder but Actinic say the server is not allowing them in.

Can anyone advise please...I'm at my wits end!

    Thanks....

Ask you host to check the permissions on the default FTP ID, and make sure that ID has full access to cgi-bin.

      Netnation Hosting

Thanks for that Bill, all that was fine and with the help of Actinic Support we have found that these 'State of the art' servers do not have enough memory space for Actinic (requires 16mB min) and also appears that there is insufficient run time (requires 60 secs).

I am trying to contact Netnation now to see if they can change these settings, they are not answering....guess they are still in bed over there.

        NetNations

Just in case anyone out there has this problem, NetNations has now come up with a fix and all is working well. I'm not particularly technical but an adjsutment was required on their side to allow the CGI script to run correctly. If anyone needs help with this I may be able to help.
