Query about Catalog

Hi, I have Developer installed and am about to start a site for someone who will be using Catalog. The site is going to require searching custom properties, can someone confirm that the advanced search is the same between catalog and developer? Thanks...

Catalog does not include searching on custom properties I believe....

Thanks for that, the comparison on the Actinic site isn't nearly as detailed. Back to the drawing board then, since I doubt the client wants to spend £800+!

The link is actuallty provided in the Actinic site under the products overview page, about 2 3rds down, which is where I grabbed it from.

Admittedly I didn't hunt extensively, so thanks for giving me the link.

I wanted the custom properties to produce a series of drop-down menus so users can browse by manufacturer / model. So long as the text appears in the description, I can hopefully still create the drop-downs manually and put the selected items into the search field before the form is submitted.
