adding items to my shopping basket

I have recently changed my website so that you can buy items in multiples and these have components and attributes, but in doing so must have altered something because now you can't buy them!

it always comes up with an error mesage :-

for example then 'aIN6;VOID0' for one of the two products which I have currently uploaded.

I have fixed this now BUT I do NOT want the qty box to appear on my site as I am already asking them to confirm a qty in a component/attribute - Does the Qty box have to appear as it is confusing for the customer

I'm afraid you will need to use the quantity box, else Actinic will complain saying nothing has been added to cart. What you can do is to use the use the 'Quantity on Confirmation Page' route. You can change this on the layout tab of the section by unchecking 'Use Parent Settings'.
