    Nearly go Live

Well the time has nearly come for me to hand over the site to the client.

Before I do this could you please check the site out and feedback your comments.

    http://www.countymowersltd.co.uk/

In particular I would like some comments about the shipping, how secure are the details? how do i capture cc details etc?

    Thanks

    Andy

    had a quick look

im viewing on a wide screen, and in the catalog the horizontal nav bar aligns to te extreme right, you could do with adding an extra cell and restrain it to the end of the top graphic. sorry to be pikky.

    other wise looks great...!

      Looks nice!

One thing you might think about doing, is resetting your graphic to 800 px wide, and then using Dreamwever edit the Act_Brochure & Act_Primary, as well as the shopping cart and checkout pages to set all the page-widths to 800 px.

see: http://www.fairlyoddparentsshop.co.u...log/index.html (please try to look tomorrow, I am having server problems tonight.)

It will tighten the pages up nicely, and center the shop in the middle of the screen.

        Credit Card details gone awol

        Will make the changes required.

On a more worrying note, the shipping has gone to pot, it doesn't appear to be allowing the capture of Credit cad details (name on card, card number!!!)

I have activated the Secure Java Payment option, would this cause it???

        Help please

I just placed a test order using Invoice for later payment of whatever it is called. My attempts to use a dummy dredit card number did not work. It correctly rejected the dummy number as invalid.

Sorry, but not prepared to use a real credit card number to check further, but it does appear to be working correctly at the moment (if you have card verification of some sort running).

            Hi Andy,

managed to place an order and get through to the receipt page without issue. Looks like something has been edited in one of the Act_Order templates as the left hand column describing what the input is needed is only about 100px wide and needs widening.

What is the reasoning behind the splash screen for the homepage? Not only is it framed but there is little to entice me into the store. If you do need the page at least remove the frame and provide some links through to actual products and provide more images of what the site is selling .
