Putting identical products in 2 sections

Hi, I wondered if it was possible to have exactly the same product including the same code and popup e.t.c in 2 places on the site?
For example we want local band t-shirts in both the band t-shirts section and the local bands section.

Simply copy the original product and "paste as duplicate" in the new section... note there are some issues with custom variables and duplicates if using v7.0.5

ok, i'll try that, i should be ok, im only using custom variables on the primary templates? what kind of issues?

If just on the template you should be OK.
