Smart theme side bar help

a few things i need help with

1. apart from editing Left Bar Title and Left bar Text in Deisgn/options, how can add more text and pictures to the side bars.

2. I would like the cart section that displays my cart amount to be clickable so they can go straight to the checkout from it.

3. I would like to add more side bars for more offers and info, how?
