Locations going walkabout!

I have set a simple shipping table up based on order value and location.

The problem i have is that when i export the dbase etc and upload on the clients machine not all of the locations i have created are available

I have created locations based on counties and other UK Mainland locations

It doesn't seem to like the 'Other UK locations'

Just opened up actinic on my pc and that location is also now missing.

Is there a better way to create these locations?

I have 5 counties in the UK to ship to at one rate
and All other UK Mainland locations are another rate.

Got the shipping table set up for each location but the UK mainland location keeps 'disappearing' from the Advanced - locations.

Could you make this clearer for me?

Andy,

That should not happen if you have set it up correctly and given it an Abbreviation that does not clash with an existing one. Have attached a screen grab of an example setup on my Locations area and it does not disappear.

Once you have added these county's, have you also made sure that they are added to the UK zone properties in Shipping and Handling and in Tax? You can do that by moving the UK back to the countries group and then adding it back to the members area.

Think I got the hang of this now.

Didn't have the locations in the Tax section.

Could you/anyone take a look at the screenshots and advise if i'm on the right wavelength

I have added the mainland UK as per your settings however it appears that when I take a site snapshot and reopen actinic it removes the mainland UK location!!!

Any ideas whats causing this??

Honestly no idea why that would happen. I would suggest you raise a Support Query @ http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.htm or if you have cover, call into support at 01932 358370. They will need to take a look at a snapshot of the site to see why you keep loosing the information.
