Hi
Please can someone tell me how i can get my webpages to look like this

I would like to have my links to product sections down left hand side and maybe special offers etc down right hand side, i know it must be easy to do but cant figure it out. Is it easy to change for instance the special offers i could place in boxes on left, so i can update them often.
Any help would be appreciated

Hi Matthew,

that layout is a slightly modified standard version 7 theme (Smart) with the Cross Sell Pro plug-in extension to get the extra products in the right hand column.

One hack would be to create a 3 column Act_Primary, Act_Brochure and Act_PrimaryCheckout templates and use CUSTOMVAR's in the right hand column boxes to call in an HTML page featuring the upsell products (or even a basic link in the CUSTOMVAR's poperty field) - this could then be changed on a section by section basis to link through to complimentary items.

If you use an external file it then becomes easier to change on say a weekly or monthly basis using say Dreamweaver than under Actinic

The Cross Sell plugin can be found over at http://www.ecommerce.uk.com/actinic_...ross_sell.html the site says v7 required so may be worth contacting if of use to see if available in v6.
