Using existing template with webstore (Dreamweaver)

    Hi,

I've just started posting and this forum is great.

    Okay, another question:

Here is the website for which I'm developing a store:

    http://www.totalfitness.net

As you can see, I set this site up with "holes" I guess you would say for a webstore when I designed it.

Here is the store I am developing (don't order anything please; we're not quite there yet!):

    https://www.totalfitness.net/acatalo...nessStore.html

It doesn't look much like the website. We're shooting to just get it up and running asap then fix the look.

The Total Fitness website is done with templates. Is there a way to use the main template on which the site is based and pop it right into the store...at least to pop the top part of the pages, with the logo and nav bar in?

I'm just starting to look at the Dreamweaver integration stuff. Opened up a few templates and saw how it worked.

Should be straightforward ... in DW you need to open and edit the Act_Primary.html, Act_BrochurePrimary.html and Act_PrimaryCheckout.html template in the root of the site1 folder.

The Act_Primary is the master template which most of the site sits into. When redesigning the Act_Primary I tend to load the desired layout at the bottom of the page and slowly copy the NETQUOTEVAR variables into the new position ... regularly testing back in Actinic all is working fine. Once happy I then delete out the exisiting theme at the top of the page.

As usual make a back up of the template before changing anything
