Exporting Customer from one site to another

Perhaps a naive question but... I want to create a new site but use a different set of themes.
The customers I have in one site I want to export to the new site without using a snapshot for obvious reasons.

Can I export them somehow or is the database for them that I can just copy to the new site folder?

You can copy the relevant customer table(s) from the current mdb file to another database and then copy back into your new sites database (or just copy the whole current database to another name and just copy over the bits you want later - products? prices? descriptions?). Don't forget the shippingtables.mdb too - especially if you spent a couple of weeks doing special locations and working out your shipping rates.

What is the obvious reason to stop you importing a snapshot to developer computer, rename the site xxx.co.uk, change the theme and make any other changes you want

      Must be missing something
