    order confirmation email

    Hi,

    My first post although I am probably known to support the amount I have phoned lol!

    Anyhow.... My Problem:

    In regard to the order confirmation email when recieved the email does not format as I would like. It wraps and also does this when we print the email hence I would like to know how we get this to fit on one line as there is sufficient space.

    I have looked on the forum and edited the script where the order email is generated OrderScript.pl e.g.

    $ACTINIC::B2B->AppendXML('CART', "\r\n");
    #
    # Now define the order detail table. First the product reference column if it applies
    #
    my $nProdRefColumnWidth = 5;

    etc.

    This made no difference in terms of the sizing.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    All the Best

    The formatting of the email is done on the desktop and hence the script changes will not apply. The email is built on the PC but copied to the server and sent by the same method as the customer receipt email. The difference between
    online and offline may be the template and/or coding differences between C++ and Perl.

    At present this is a wish list item and I can add your vote to the list. I see that you have spoken with support again today with regards to this issue It si presently with development and will keep you updated on anything we hear from them.

    Kind regards,

      I mentioned this some time ago so I will be pleased to see an improved email invoice layout. Depending on the amount of info per line, they sometimes look dreadfully untidy...and unprofessional.
