Order Emailing

Hi again

Having problems sending emails now after ive received an order. im trying to email the customer a copy of their order.
Ive got actinic setup to use my shop email (which is working fine, pop3 smtp etc.) when i tell actinic the SMTP server to use for sending emails i get the following error message:

"the wizard recieved an unexpected exception while testing the web server's Perl environment. The server returned an invalid or unrecognised response. Try again later"

Ive got the same SMTP in my Network Setup also.

Any thoughts?

Actinic will only use the SMTP server details that are provided in the Network Setup area. If a test on the Network Setup passes the Mail test succesfully, then there should not be an issue sending mails. If iot does not pass the test, you could try using 'localhost', else get in touch with your hosting compant and see if they require authorization on the SMTP server, if they do, you will have to put in a username and password.
