    Linking - Stock Control

    Hi everyone,

Can anyone give me some advice on the above subject. We're about to possibly purchase Actinic Business for our shop. We're looking into having stock control for the shop and website combined. Does anyone have any experience of linking the two together? ie Actinic with say the shop till or similar? or linking shop till with a stock program which also links with Actinic?

Also I'm a bit concerned, from reading these boards, stock on Actinic seems a bit uncontrolable unless your continually uploading and downloading? with people being able to order even though your out of stock? Thoughts?

Any advice would be most helpful.

    Thanks

Top2Toe integrates into Actinic - check out http://www.drillpine.biz/ and http://www.top2toe.com/ ... I have not personally used these.

As actinic uses static HTML pages (no database online) you will need to deplete the stocks and upload again for the changes to show.

Also worth checking out Jan's site over at http://www.actinicplugins.co.uk/ for a range of automation software which may be of use
