    Error Retrieving orders, Help!!

    Hi,

I have now been running Actinic catalog for 10 months without any problems. But all of a sudden when I tried to retrieve the orders yesterday I received the following error:

"The Server scripts are incompatible with this version of Actinic Ecommerce. Refresh the web site.

If this error persists copy the Perl scripts from the Original subdirectory and try again.

    Server Version = "3" Client Version = "7 ELCA"

When I run the Test option in Advanced Network setup I get the following error:

The HTTP POST operation to the script failed. Actinic requires that the web server support POST operations. Contact your network administrator or ISP and have them enable POST's on your web server.

My hosting provider is Easliy.co.uk and they gave me the following response when I emailed them:

After escalation to our technical department, they have advised that this is an actinic scripting issue, you should contact Actinic support for further assistance.

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Please help!!

    Many thanks,
    Faisal

        Hi,

Many thanks for the reply but when I do that in Troubleshooting, I get the following same error about half way through.

"The Server scripts are incompatible with this version of Actinic Ecommerce. Refresh the web site.

If this error persists copy the Perl scripts from the Original subdirectory and try again.

        Server Version = "3" Client Version = "7 ELCA"

I still have same problem once uploading has finished. Any ideas?

        Many thanks.

Can you ftp to the server ? If you can, go in an manually check the permissions on the cgi-bin and the acatalog folder. They should be 777 and 755 respectively. What happens when you do a Network Test in Advanced Network setup now? Is it still the same error message? Please do post back and let us know.

          Kind regards,
