    Pop Ups

I'm planning on using Pop Ups to contain extra product information that can not fit on the main product pages.

When I preview the site in Internet Explorer I receive a warning message saying that IE is "restricting access to the file from showing active content that could access your computer". Is there any way that I can get rid of this message from appearing (it's only appearing on my laptop which runs XP as opposed to my desktop (running 98).

Or am I (and my site visitors) going to have to live with this message every time?

Click on your popup blocker and tell it to always allow popups from this location.

This is an XP SP2 security issue not a pop up issue that appears due to locally run files - there was a thread on here regarding this and the advanced settings to change or check out the Microsoft website

        Thanks for the replies.

I've also done some searching and concluded that once my site goes live these pop up blocking messages will not appear for my site visitors... that is what I was really worried about.

Yes - they are due to locally run elements and once live they are not shown.

I tend to allow the preview once and so long as you leave the same browser window open it will not occur until closed ... so you can make changes and preview away without the nag screen popping up again
