Once Only Coupon Discounts........

Hi,

We want to send a Coupon Code to all our customers which they can key-in at checkout to get £20 off their order but we only want this code to work once for each customer. We're fairly new to Actinic so if anybody can guide us through how to achieve this, we'd be most gratful.

Hi Patrick,

at the moment Actinic only supports coupons (used by anyone) and not vouchers (single redemption) ... this is because Actinic uses static HTML and not a database. Hopefully this is being looked into for v8 release.

Workarounds include limiting the time of the coupon, manually removing the code once it has been redeemed or if you process payments offline putting a line into the terms that all codes will be verified in the back-office before they will be allocated to the order. No - not a great solution.
