I need to use a different primary template when viewing the cart contents page. In 'Design Options' it is possible to set different templates for login and checkout and so on - but none for the cart contents page. So... where do i put it?

Hi Rasmus,
In Design / Options / Layouts you can specify a different Primary template for Checkout Pages. Actinic also supplies an Act_PrimaryCheckout.html template for most themes that hides the menu buttons.

the checkout pages are working fine.
the problem is the 'Shopping Cart' page - it doesn't seem to use the Act_PrimaryCheckout, but Act_Primary - which includes the menu and cart contents script.
so the million$ question.... how the ¤#"! do i change that?

As above... In Design / Options / Layouts you can specify a different Primary template for Checkout Pages.
Is it set there?

Sadly there is no way to do this at the moment. The 'View Cart' page (together with the 'Search', 'Sitemap' and 'Info' pages) will use the default Overall Layout Template.
What you can do is set the default one to be the one you want for the 'View Cart' page, and then set an alternative overall layout template for the front page of the store (in 'Design | Options | Layouts') and for all the sections in the store (within the 'Layout' tab of the top-level sections).
This will change the look and feel of the other pages mentioned above (search etc.) but it will get you a lot closer to where you want to be.
