Error testing Network Settings

has anyone seen the error below and know what the problem may be? It's just started happening with a new host although they appear to be able to upload without an issue.

"the check script sent an invalid response (54,) No such file or directory: exec failed (cp000001.pl)). Retry the test."

folllowed by

"the test script failed to execute on the server........"

Usually either because cgi-bin is not where it is expected to be or the permissions on the folder and contents is not set at 755.

Try visiting the site with ftp and checking permission. If that does not resolve, post details of the host and your current settings with any usernames and passwords removed.
