If you have the latest version of Catalog, then you would not be able to install Business latest version onto the same machine - sorry...

Only way would be to install it onto a different machine totally (or possibly under a different user - but not 100% certain if this would work - and best to get snapshots of your current Catalog just incase it messed things up)...

i tried it and it does not work

thought it was going to it whent through all the procedure even opened a screen saying upgrading current catalogue, but allas when i opened actinic it was still catalogue..

anyway i must get the accounts sorted, let me tell you what i want to be able to do and someone maybe doing exatly this and tell me which set up they use because as far as i can see its going to cost another grand at least and i would not like to be dissapointed with the functionality...

i would like to download orders and pass straight to other software for process, here i would hope to be able to everything i can in actinic including sending customer emails etc, order and maintain stock and stok levels......im dreaming aint i..... and have it automaticly sink with actinic, basicly control actinic from another package that can also create accounts...go on tell me im dreaming...?

        Gary,

You will not be able to have 2 versions of Actinic 7 on one system, it will require a seperate machine to eveluate.

With regards to your Dream list !! I guess you can do all this from Sage, you will even be able to create and transfer your customer accounts over from Sage to Actinic.

        Kind regards,
