    Anyone help with this?

    Hi All

Does anyone know of a way to run a query on the actinic database to provide a complete list of every product i sell in say an excel format or text file etc.

Quick search engine question, if i sell HPI cars and HPI trucks, whats the best way to keyword it?

HPI cars, HPI trucks, HPI monster trucks or
HPI cars, trucks & monster trucks

Ive read so many articles and i am really lost as to what is the correct thing to do with regards to search engines. Whenever you read something, you are never quite sure what is the best formula or if the article you have read is up-to-date.

Can anyone offer some basic up to date advice on what is best (ideally someone who has achieved a high ranking with their website). Any recommendations on software or companies to use?

I KNOW THIS IS AN ONGOING SUBJECT THING THAT PI$$ES ALOT OF PEOPLE OFF TO SEE A TOPIC ABOUT YET AGAIN. I'd really appreciate a successful webmaster whose achieved high rankings to help, i am more than willing to pay or offer large discount on any of my products.

    Cheers

When I prepare keywords, descriptions for presentation to search engines, I use a program from these people http://www.webceo.com/ to compare serach terms etc.

For ideas, views check out this place http://www.sitepoint.com/

They also have an interesting article on ecommerce http://www.sitepoint.com/article/sit...-holiday-sales

Lee for a listing of products suitable for use in a spreadsheet (Its on the File menu), look at the built in froogle feed, or the excellent froogle mash from Mole End.

        Thanks Bill

Have done both exports and its a little confusing to say the least (for me anyway lol).

All i am after is product short description and product full description and price.

easier to do via an access query?

that export would take some work to produce a spreadsheet worth anything to me and also i need to be able to do this on a regular basis on a range of products constantly changing.

Why not just do an hierarchical export and use excel to sort the file alphabetically by the first column. You can then just extract the group starting with "Product", then just delete the columns which you don't want.

A froogle feed will easily open with Excel - all you would have to do is delete the few columns that you don't need.

In the Access database the Product table contains the fields that you need. You can easily setup a query to show the fields and then analyze in Excel.
