Check database for errors

Is there any way to check the Actinic database for errors. I am getting the occasional run-time error, when I'm offline, and I fear there is something wrong therefore. How can I find out what is causing the error and how can I check that there are no errors on my database? (I suspect that a duplicated product has 'lost' its link to an original product but don't know how to prove that)

I suggest you go into housekeeping and then compact database
