Help ref the Final receipt page

    Hi

We have just done a test purchase and as per the following screenshot of the final receipt, a rather ugly looking NETQUOTEVAR:FOOTERTEXT is displayed at the bottom of the page.

Please advise which template so we can make the necessary adjustments.

    Many thanx and best regards

This usually happens when a > has been left off the end of an html tag (so that it is no longer correctly interpreted by the browser), but I would expect it to affect more than just the one page.

Have a look at Act_Footer.html to see if you have accidentally deleted something. You may want to copy the original Act_Footer from the Program Files\Actinic v7\Formats\Themes\yourchosenlayout folder.

      Thank you.

My customer has also had the following error message come up when printing out the shipping list so he cannot send the email confirmation of shipment.

      Please help.

        Debbie,

There are quite a few threads about SMTP settings in the Forum (especially in Initial Web Site / Network Confoguration.

Basically, your client should ensure the email address in Business Settings | Company/Contact tab is a valid address for an email account provided by the web host, and that the SMTP Server listed in Advanced | Network Settings is the correct smtp setting for that email account - though because the mail is actually being sent from the server, this is not always the same as the setting that would be used in a desktop mail program such as Outlook ot Eudora.

A search for SMTP and the name of the webhost might show whether that particular host needs special settings. If nothing helpful is found, then a post giving the name of the webhost will usually get a response from someone who has managed a successful setup on that host.
