Xmas Gift Vouchers?

Hi,

I did a seasrch on this topic and found this:

but the partner site doesn't work correctly. links are dead?

Is there any way to offer vouchers easily to customers? I have seen that PayPal do them but I use WorldPay. I suppose it's easy enough to make a few products based on prices from £20-£600 but it would take a while to sort and I've had a few enquiries about people purchasing airbrush class bookings for their spouses and friends etc.

Any ideas for a quick fix way to offer a Xmas Voucher to customers registered or not?

Hi Brian,

I offer online event bookings by setting up the product at X pounds and setting a weight of ZERO against the product - the shipping by weight is set at 0kg = £0.00 so they are not being charged for the product (I use v7 and could set this as digital download but does not suit the needs)

I simply then print out a certificate / voucher with the order number as a ref and post it on. I only need about 12 products / events so works well enough for me.

Gift vouchers can be done either setting the amounts as individual products or telling the customer to enter their own price (this is actually quantity in the quatity required field) and again setting the weight to zero kg. NOt perfect to a workaround at the moment.

The work around I have used is by sending the gift voucher by .pdf.

The order is fulfilled by emailing the voucher so they have to print it out and send it in with their order or use the code to use on site.

Once it's used we manually have to delete the code.
