    v4 to v6 upgrade issue

I've just updated a catalog from v4 to v6, but the ActinicCatalog.mdb is still Access95-format. That is pretty damn strange right?

When you upgrade catalog your old database is upgraded rather than replaced. So it will be the same version as it was before the upgrade.

If you have the tools to do it you can upgrade it yourself. If it is access95 I don't know how to upgrade it, but if is it access97 (which it should be if it started life as a V4 database), you can use the open access and use the convert database to current access version option (tools/database utilities/convert database/to current access version).

It is a 95-edition, so i guess it started out earlier than v4 - havent been around that long

Yes, i can update it using access, but all the other shops automatically got upgraded to 2000.

Point is, I can't edit it as long as it is 95-format, and it acts a little strange when i update it manually - but anyway I sorted it out now in probably the most unorthodox way, but finally got the little fella working
