Closing up Copy

I am sure this is a simple shange to a template, and has probably been answered before, but I can not find it.

Currently Actinic leaves a space when we have a carraige return in the product copy. I would like to close this up. what do I need to change, and in which template?

Also it leaves a large gap between the price and components, can I close this up?

Plus while I am asking, can I use Price netquotevar in section descriptions? We manually put them in as here:
http://www.gardengames.co.uk/acatalog/Games_Tables.html

but if we change the price it is easy to forget to change the section description, would be better to use the price netquotevar, but can it be done?

As for the Price in the Section. No. The Section code is unaware of the subsequent page contents. That page could have several (or no) products after all.
