Within the following "View | Discount and Surcharge Settings | Miscellaneous", what is the difference between these 2 settings:

    - Allow Only One Order Value Discount Per Order
    - Allow Only One Cart Content Discount Per Order

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Mike

Actinic allows you to set up discounts based on both Order Value and Cart Content.

Order Value - Offers discounts based on the total cart value including or excluding VAT, irrespective of the type of products purchased.

Cart Content - This discount, in addition, allows you to specify product categories and have different discounts for each category. This tab also allows you to trigger discounts based on the quantity of items purchased.

Websites can have either or both type of discounts.

    - Allow Only One Order Value Discount Per Order
Means that the customer will be offered only one discount which has been set in the Order Value tab.

    - Allow Only One Cart Content Discount Per Order
The customer will be offered only one discount which has been set in the Cart Content tab.

Leaving this option unchecked will cause the discounts to be triggered each time any one of the criteria is matched.

    Hope this helps.
