    Stock Level Updates

Can anyone tell me at what point actinic updates the stock value levels during the integral order management process.

I have just tested this and was surprised to find that although I had downloaded an order for a product its stock level was not immediately reduced when I looked at the stock level report.

Is actinic doing something clever here like only updating the stock levels once the order has been processed?

    Many thanks,

    Steve

was the order downloaded with payment completed?
Stock levels are not reduced until full payment is received so if it was downloaded (as a test order?) to the "PSP payment pending" tab, it will not reduce the stock until you enter a payment received for it.
(word of advice though... never "cancel" orderlines in a payment pending order because, even though it won't have reduced the stock levels when the order was made, it WILL increase them when you cancel a PSP pending orderline!)
It's a big (and still unfixed!) flaw!

      Tracey thanks for the reply,

The order was downloaded with full payment recieved although this order was taken on a TEST server environment from the Protx PSP we are using.

Should that make a difference - should it?. Also I am running the actinic software in evaluation mode at the moment - not that I can see why this would make any difference.

        Steve,

Running in evaluation mode should not make a difference on how it handles stock. Did the order go into the "Pending PSP" or the "Pending" tab.
