Title Page? Where is it..

I did all the usual things for my title page, declaring a CUSTOMVAR:PAGETITLE, setting that up in act_primary.html and removing NETQUOTEVAR:PAGETITLE from act_primary.
The new title shows up when I preview the page...but when I upload the site and go to the url it does not show....only the title "Home" shows up...weird

The "Home" title is set uniquely in the content tree against the top "home" page

Yes but it is over written if you use a CUSTOMVAR variable...thats my understanding..I actually got that working for one of my sites

Did you remember to add the Customvar to site defaults under Design | Options? The very first site page should pick up this default.

You then need to use a different Act_Primary on any page where you don't want to specify a customvar title.
